Kingpin lock

Did a search for Kingpin lock and King Pin Lock here and got no hits, so I'll just ask.

What pin locks are recommended? I don't feel especially comfortable with no deterrent on there. I also don't want something cheap, like the Reese ball hitch lock that anyone with a bar can snap off in seconds.

Conversely, I don't want to drop several hundred dollars on a lock that isn't worth that much.

    Honestly, I probably don't "need" one, but it only takes once. Better safe than sorry and all that.

    When full-timing, this goes beyond our 'rv' and becomes our 'home'. I'd hate to find out it was going down the highway behind someone else's truck. :)

    If I/We felt something was not right we moved on

    WE found that by engaging our 'neighbors' they seemed to have a vested interest in watching out and vice versa.

    Haven't used one yet.......current 5vr 11 years, previous 5vr 20+ years and neither ever went missing
