- ramyankeeExplorerThis is an post 3 months after the original. We bought our 1991/1992 32AF Road Ranger about 8 years ago. It is the front living quarters unit.
Our quality is EXCELLENT. I have had only one issue and that was due to my own negligence. We would like to upgrade to a much newer 5th Wheel for a few reasons. We would like a slide out or two, a more 4 season unit and maybe a lighter unit. But we love ours and are not sure if we could find one as reliable. - ferretgrandpaExplorerWe had a 95 Sportmaster 28', abused by previous owners. We kept it 4 years.
Look it over, unit was built well, but was it maintained? - cummins2014Explorer

I'd like opinions on quality issues for older, 1994-1999, 22'-26' Kit Road Ranger 5th wheels. Thanks!
I would think the question would be what condition would it be in today. That old of fifth wheel whatever quality issues it had would have been addressed .Probably there are no slide outs to deal with , and at this point my biggest concern concern would be roof leaks, after that does everything work, does it have the original suspension ,appliances etc, which are all subject to failure being 15-19 years old. - alanmikkelsenExplorerThanks, everyone! Anybody else?
- whistlebritchesExplorerWe had a 28' 1990 Road Ranger 5th wheel for four years and had no issues at all. Just wanted one with a slideout, so traded it in on a 33' Snowbird by Nuwa.
- bogart661ExplorerDon't know about the 94 - 99 years but we had a 1992 24' Kit Road Ranger 5th wheel that we bought new in '92. We had that trailer for 9 years and we had no problems at all.
- chipperExplorerMy son worked as an factory inspector for Kit Road Ranger & there are better brands.
