You need to check the controller for fault codes. I cant remember exactly where the controller for the kitchen slide is but its probably in the front storage. I know the bedroom controller is in the gen compartment.
Lippert has troubleshooting guides available. You may need to put the slide in "override" mode to get it to go in.
