Kodiac Brakes

I just purchased a 2013 Mobile Suites with Kodiac electric over hydraulic disc brakes. I tow it with a 2011 F-350. hooked up today to bring it home, went to the settings menu, changed it to electric over hydraulic and no brakes. Any suggestions? Do I need a separate controller. if that is the case, what kind of controller?
  • I'm not too familiar with Ford products (I drive a RAM) so I haven't paid too much attention to this subject but it's been gone over extensively on other forums. There is something that can be done to "fix" your problem I just can't recall what it is, sorry. :h Do a search, you'll find your solution. It's a fairly common issue with Fords and DRVs.

  • The problem that you are experiencing is common with the earlier OEM brake controllers in Ford and Chevy p/u's.

More than likely this will solve the problem:

I have Titan disc brakes/actuator and use the above device to solve the issue.
  • Have you tried electric too?
Do a web search for brake controller issues for your truck. This is not uncommon as I understand
