Komfort 3530 true towing height...

Hi guys.... Does anyone know if Komfort's advertised height of 12'8" includes the optional front A/C or not? If not has anyone measured true height with a front A/C? I am having a little issue with leveling out my 3530 when towing and we may need to flip the axles and to say I am a little nervous is an understatement ....

It states A/C is included but it does not say if it includes the optional front A/C that sits higher and forward of the primary A/C unit. I will try and make a run out to the storage yard where I can level the trailer and take a measurement.
  • Flipping the axles to under the springs increases the RV height. Going over the springs lowers the height.

  • Thanks Russ.... I am still awaiting on my hitch adaptor to come in from MOPAR so I can't hitch the trailer up to my new truck just yet. I am trying to plan ahead a little and just get some numbers from others. What I do know is that the new trucks bed is higher than my old trucks and I also know that the adaptor I need for my hitch will also add about 2 inches of height as well. I also know that my pinbox is only one row of mounting holes from the top so I have very little adjustment there. I realize I wont know EXACTLY where I am till my adaptor comes in but I am hoping to at least have a plan in place so we can back on the road sooner than later.

I don't see how flipping the axles is going to change the towing height of the Front AC. That is more determined by TV bed height and rail clearance than the height at the axle.

First thing to do is measure the height at the front AC with the 5er hooked to the TV, as advertised height is just that! The 5er manufactures advertised height is based of towing level with stock suspension height.
