KZ Venom Toy Hauler

Been looking at the KZ Venom 3911 Toy Hauler, talked with the factory rep and all questions answered about the build of this unit was more than favorable, love the floor plan, any pros or cons about this product would be appreciated...Thanks
  • Thanks guys, I thought the pad basically ran everything, I would like to see switches myself to override the pad in case it goes haywire, we have put the Venom on hold for a few more months but will order before winter as we will go south again and enjoy the new Razor that will accompany us, Happy Campin...
  • We have a 2016 4013 TK Venom we love it, Like said by mudmaker not reel fan
of the tablet to run every thing. great layout lots of room for sxs and other toys.

  • We have a 4114. From the story I was given probably the first. Not that that means anything.
I like it for versatility and the living space is good. Almost the same floor plan as a 3911.(that's what we were shopping for originally)
Had to return it a few times for warranty but I guess that's almost a normal thing these days. I've gone ahead and fixed some things myself and still plan on moving the pull handles inside. Defiantly doable although I was given a story from dealer and factory on why they put them where they did. Basically in long version it was laziness.
Lipperts pad that controls everything is a nice gimmick, but I would still like to have switches for lights and HW, pump, etc. I told the factory rep to put in a light switch in the hallway so when entering in the dark you don't have to trip over whatever may be lurking in the dark left from the fur babies (scrunched up rug, shoes or chew toys) to find the pad, turn it on, scroll through the light category to fin the right light you need to step foot in the house.
Basically the pad and solid mount screen are a pain imo.
The KZ forum is sadly lacking of any factory backing and is usually quiet.
  • I had looked at them and toured their factory, thought they were as well built as any of the cookie cutter haulers. They do have a 2yr warranty. A couple things that disappointed me were the tank valves still being under the frame and not in the control box, lack of USB plugins and lack of useable/reachable cabinet space. Lack of Venom dealer in Indiana. Other than those items seemed okay.

I have joined this forum, not much said there about the Venom, fairly new model since 2016....Thanks
  • IIRC at one time KZ used a felt backed TPO roof that was problematic.
