Very cool.
Family ties for me. We spent a week at Almanor in a house right on the lake, boats tied to our own dock, beautiful lake.
Now the kicker. My extended family are The Lawsons. They own the landing you stayed at. Have not seen a pic of the store in ages. The spot you camped in used to be permanent trailers, another cousin had one there. Did you see the sand dunes where you pulled in? My first dune buggy ride was on those dunes with a cousin in a homemade buggy, flathead power and all!
