Both work since neither dominates the market. Vacuum bonded is the best IMO, then pinch rolled and then hung wall (but that is what I own). Any of them can have water caused delamination, but hung wall units can be repaired easier since the others may require replacing the entire bonded structure. Delamination due to poor adhesion and flexing is more an issue of material selection and quality control rather than type of construction. Laminated walls CAN mean fewer aluminum studs and better insulation. Again, either type can be built good or bad, just depends on the manufacturer. However, I believe more manufacturers prefer hung wall, since it offers greater flexibility in design/assembly, changes on the fly, and it is cheaper.
