landing gear foot pad

when I arrived home, went to put down landing gear and see I lost one of the foot pads.
saw some on Amazon with quick release, but had quite a few bad reviews of pins falling out.
what might be best place to buy another
  • Discounthitches.com sells the Curt manufactured jack feet and other jack parts. Also check eTrailer.com.

Or, you could get a 4x6 piece of 1/4" plate or flat bar and weld it to the jack leg...
  • Camping World also sells them and ships as well ... Good Luck and Happy Camping
  • I somehow lost a pad on my Lippert auto leveler system. I don't see how it came off without someone actually taking it, but who knows. Got mine off of EBay.
  • I ordered Ultra Fab heavy duty foot pads from Amazon and have been very happy with them. They won't come up with a 'landing gear foot pad" search. Search for Ultra Fab 17-940006 and I think you will be pleased. Far superior to the Lippert pad that also fell off my trailer.
  • I would not weld anything on there. It needs to be free to swivel around.

A missing foot would not keep me from camping. I would just use some lumber under the leg and camp on until I could get it fixed.

On mine, the foot is just held on with a pin, and the pin is retained with a wire clip. It is not that hard to imagine the clip vibrating out. I've lost them on out of receiver pins before. Once the clip is gone, the pin will soon follow.

Take the other one off and get a pair of "big foot" style pads.

  • While your at it might as well add an adjuster mechanism. helps on uneven ground.
