I didn't hesitate for a minute to replace the Venture setup when I saw how underpowered and underbuilt it was. JMO of course.

I ended up using a Venture Mfg single motor system. I wanted to stay with the single motor because I have a remote control system that will only run one motor.
Yeah, I was kind of torn between which system to use. My thinking with staying with the single motor system came down to two things
1. If I later decide to switch to the dual motors, I already have the correct leg and motor setup for the street side. It's not that expensive to switch the curb side leg and add a power unit.
2. Hardest part about this job was getting to the stupid leg. The access panel I had to remove was welded in place and grinding off the welds without catching the trailer on fire was interesting to say the least. Now that I have figured out that the generator can stay in place, plus I am screwing the access panel back in instead of welding it, I can switch the curb side leg in about an hour, if I decide to later for whatever reason.
I may have been wrong and regret it later, but live and learn right? I don't mind the slow speed of the single motor system, I'm never in such a hurry that a minute or two upsets me. I really like being able to watch the level while using the remote, instead of constantly hopping back and forth from the switch to the level.
