Yes, look for possible zerk. Mine has them, about 6-8"s down from the top IIRC. On mine, the top cover is easy removed to put a bit of grease on the gears, if needed, mine did not. After a few shots of grease in the zerks, running legs up/down, made a big difference for me.

You can replace your landing gear system, with a separate motor/leg system, that can operate independent of each other.

Here is an observation on my 2008, as well as my friends 2010 , both Montana Fifth Wheels. Grease is a wonderful thing unfortunately the 2008 of mine has only the one zerk to lube the top gears. The 2010 has two perks one for the top gears , and one for the long worm gear.

The 2010 was also laboring, mine has always ran decent, not great, but still on the original motor. The 2010 was nearly coming to a stop , well the gears were pretty dry, greased up both zerks, and it runs like a champ. That could be your biggest problem.

The thing is the grease on the worm gear did the most good, but I don't know a good way to grease that worm gear if there is no zerk there. I have had the legs off ,and somewhat apart ,and got some grease on the worm gear. I also replaced drivers side, and it does have the double zerk.

As far as double motors , I guess there would be a way, although they do sell the double motor units. A bit spendy .
