I have the JT and they work great. It looks like the Steadyfast only goes on one front leg and one rear jack. If that's the case, that doesn't seem good to me. I would go with the JT or JT style by other manufacturers, and get full stabilization, not just one in front and one in back.

Steadyfast uses 2on the front with each going different direction to stabilize & then a 3rd on rear. At least that's what I have. - VeebyesExplorer IIMy word the underside of that thing is clean! Did you clean it up just to impress us with the pictures?
- Landroamer1ExplorerSatisfied Steadyfast user here also
- partsman01ExplorerAppreciate it when people like you keep us up to date and pictures are great.

less than a minute, you only need to tighten those 3 silver wingnuts to stabilize. - minnowExplorerHow long does it take to set up those legs upon arrival at your destination?
- alexleblancExplorerI received them last week and was very impressed with the packaging and even more so with the quality of the product. First class instructions and labelling.
All in all it took me about 1.5 hours to install both front and back and the results are a fifth wheel that feels rock solid now, huge improvement!Moderator edit to re-size pictures to forum limit of 640px maximum width.

I asked the question and continued to read posts from every forum I could bring up on the subject and got much of the info elsewhere - but I just wanted to see if anyone had a glaring issue with either of the products.
Frankly users of both products seemed to be very happy, I couldn't find any complaints that didn't have to do with user error on either products.
The way my unit is made up front, there is no front cross member to tie the JT's to so I would have had to make my own crossmember that would have stuck out past the bottom of the bodywork. That's what made my decision quickly.
You must have been on a research rampage! :B
Either one will make a big difference.
I can't buy anything without researching it to death, but once my mind is made up, watch out! - rhagfoExplorer III

X2! BUT
The OP has already placed the order for Steadyfast system, I agree that the double bracing of the front legs and center bracing of the back make for a rock solid stance, and I don't have X chocks.
I guess some just dont care about others first hand testamonials on a product and just want to draw their own conclusions. I see a lot of that on this forum. Just because someone chooses a different product than you are doesnt make it inferior.
Well the OP seems to have asked a question, to which he had already made up his mind, as 15 minutes after his question, he placed his order for the Steadyfast system, so why ask the question?
