Not the same thing but along the same line. I own farm property that doesn't have a dwelling but there is a pole barn at the end of the lane. I store wagons and such there along with a utility tractor. Some time this past summer neighborhood vandals (kids I think but can't prove) got into the barn and vandalized the tractor, tearing out the wiring and smashing all the gauges. They also stole a 5gal gas can full of diesel fuel I used for starting brush from some of the fence rows we were clearing. I have never found the gas can so I assume they were on an ATV or some other vehicle - 5 gallons of fuel is pretty heavy to carry too far. My only hope is they poured the diesel fuel into the gas tank as I'm sure it would have done considerable damage to a gasoline engine!!! My point is - NEVER leave anything unattended! You never know who or what will take it upon them selves to do mischief or harm in the name of fun.:(
