Yep, it is heavy, but IMO, this is the one you need. The fiberglass seems to be more sturdy than the lighter aluminum.
I bought a nice telescoping 12.5' ladder, but I don't like putting it against the sides, or front cap. I also could not use it to clean off my awning before rolling it up.
I bought a double sided 7' folding step ladder to put in my storage compartment. This works much better when traveling.
I use the tall, heavy fiberglass step ladder at home, but use the rear ladder to get on the roof.
