10' or 12' foot step ladder for cleaning on 5th Wheel? Aluminum or Fiberglass? FYI..sig. 5th wheel

My 5'er has a ladder, but I'm afraid to use it. It flexes more than im comfortable with, so I use 12' section from a aluminum ladder. Of course it helps that I'm seasonal... don't have to lug it but 2 times a yr.
