Level 5th wheel

Probably need to define a "little". Level is best. Nose high could put more weight on the rear axle. Running level might not give you enough clearance with the bed rails. So you might have to raise the trailer through the suspension. Which could make the steps into the trailer tall.......

Yep. More info needed. A little to you may be a lot to me. More than say 2 inches nose high is pushing it IMO.

I too would like to know what a little nose high exactly means. A picture would be awesome if possible. Our RV tows a wee tad nose high which is substantially less than "a little". The wee tad I refer to is minuscule, barely perceptible to anyone except my discerning eye.

I would be cautious about any fiver set up towing noticeably too high in the front. It can be pretty hard on the rearward axle and tires.

If it can be made level, then it should be. If it's nose high then the rear axles and tires will be loaded up more than the front - maybe overloaded. No matter the case, it will tow better level.
Dealer is Wrong.

General rule: Sales men lie, however ....
You need the weight on each axle when loaded for travel to know if yours is to high. If the rear axle is carrying 100lbs more than the front then you may want to level the front OR add weight to the front of the trailer.

I travel with my front about 4 inches high, BUT my axle weight is greater on the front axle by about 50lbs. I have checked this at the scales several times. I carry the fresh water tank full and I also carry batteries, a compressor, tools etc in the front end.

Now when I am towing the boat I suspect the rear axle is heavier but I have never tried to weigh the individual axles when pulling doubles.

Yes, in most cases 4 inches would be too high. IMO 2 inches or less is not a problem, but level is always best. Too high can cause tire overload, and will likely cause/increase chucking issues.

More info, and pic, would make it obvious, if yours is a problem. In many cases the hitch, and pinbox can be adjusted to help, but 6"s is usually required for truck bedrail clearance.

Some FW suspensions have extra holes in shackles to raise trailer. The dealer could maybe add larger tires/wheels to trailer, to help complete the sale.

Not necessarily that salesmen lie, but that they may not admit when they don't have an answer and instead make one up. Your fifth wheel shouls be level when hooked up and not riding high.

Personally, 4" out of level isn't really anything to worry about if your RV is 30 plus feet long! There are equalizers on your leaf springs to compensate for a minor unlevel attitude and if your RV is 30ft or more 4" off is very minor in my opinion!! If you had a shorter 20 something length then the 4" becomes more evident. It certainly isn't anything the dealer is responsible for fixing unless you want to pay them to fix it, you chose your TV and you also chose the RV you just purchased, not the dealer. Load up, go camping, and enjoy!

I had to raise my 2014 rushmore 2 inches then bought a new dually so I am now level. I did blow a back tire not to long ago because it wasn't level. To mush heat in the back tires when its up that high
