LG mini-split
Had a mini-split installed in our new rig. We've put about 2000 miles on the unit and now the A/C no longer works. Had a tech come out and he found a flare nut on one of the coolant lines at the condensing unit had loosened and leaked refrigerant. He told me he's seeing this more than he should on RV units. Apparently, the torque spec for what is really a residential unit doesn't consider the bouncing that an RV unit is subjected to. The tech told me that the only thing he can do is put blue Loctite on the fitting and torque it a little more than spec. Has anyone had a similar issue and what did you do about it?
