10 years on a boat is young. Mine is a 1996 & under all the grime built up while we have spent 10 years is a gelcoat that still looks good. The diesel is another matter. It is well past time in need of hauling out, cleaning, painting & having all hoses replaced.
The truck & trailer get far more nights per year use than the boat ever did. Considering the beating up RVs get on the roads they stand up remarkably well for things that really do not cost as much or put together nearly as well as most boats.
Boats & RVs share one very important rule. Both need to keep the water on the outside. Water seeping in is the worst silent killer. The rest is maintenance, fixing things that are going to go wrong & normal wear & tear.
