Lifted Truck Pulling a Fiver or Gooseneck

I have ordered a 2014 F350 4x4 with plans to install a 6 inch suspension lift and wanted some feedback as to what issues I could face if I plan to pull a Fiver or Gooseneck trailer.
If anyone has a similar setup pulling a trailer, I would appreciate a picture.
Thank you for any feedback on this issue.
  • If your going to install a suspension lift all suspension lifts don't measure up to OEM load carrying specs as some folks have found out. Do your homework there and ask questions and references and don't cheap out.
Usually someone buys a lifted truck and finds out too late the lift installed wasn't up to the job of carrying loads that their dream RV gave them.

IMO we have more lifted truck members in the toy hauler section. Check there or ask the mod to move you over there.
  • Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. I knew I would get good responses and agree the lift would cause issues,
  • Great idea! Lift the truck and throw off the drive line, apply high torque loads towing and then you can come on here and complain about the junky truck with drive line problems. Yep, smart, really smart.
  • Not a god idear as they are weary tall to start with, less stable and a lot off people has to lift trailers and FW to sit level without lifts on truck and som has lowered there trucks.
