I just had a frame shop (here in North Idaho) weld in a 3 inch sub frame lift with cross braces front & rear. It works well, and actually doesn't make the trailer look to long legged. Interesting note----after this lift, we noticed increased chucking. I think it might be from the trailer being more level, compared to the old way where it was nose high-therefore more even weight on the kingpin after the lift. It's still high in the nose, but we can't do much more.
