Lippert 6 Point Leveling System

My 5th wheel is a 2011 Jayco Pinnacle 36 REQS with the standard landing gear and rear stabilizers installed. Is there any benifit to purchase and have installed the Lippert 6 point leveling system or a similar system. With what I have , it is hit and miss to get the coach solid and not rock.

  • We have the 6 point Level Up (Lippert) on the 2012 Mobile Suite. We had the 4 point hydraulic system on the 2007 Select Suites we previously owned. I can't see the advantage to spending all those dollars just to have the leveling system installed. IMHO, the only advantage is that you can use it to lift the trailer to change a flat tire, you can buy a big ole' jack for a lot less $$$.
  • My only complaint on the 6 point Lippert is cold weather jack retraction isn't guaranteed. Nearly pulled out with one of the 6 in the down position. It finally retracted with some help from a steel fence post as leverage.
  • We installed the Lippert / Reico Titan Ground Control Leveling system on our 2011 Jayco Pinnacle.
Setup is much easier and our 5er is now solid as a rock when setup.
The aftermarket Ground Control is a 4 Point all Electric System, we left the rear stabilizer on and use it for added stability.
  • Our 6 point leveling is the best invention ever! However, it is not as solid as our old JT Stabilizers and Rotochoks. There is far too much unsupported overhang beyond the rear jacks, which are right behind the axles.
  • We have the six point system. No trips yet, but it feels like the trailer is on a concrete foundation. Also, one button leveling in about a minute.
  • I have the Lippert 4 point auto leveling and like it a lot. Makes setup quick and easy. Good luck on choosing.
  • if you were to install a 4 jack Bigfoot auto leveling system you will have a rig on which you can remove the rear stabilizers and still have a rock solid camper .... that is the case with their OEM 4 point Atwood auto leveling system and the Bigfoot system is even better .... Jayco's Pinnacle frame is so solid that a 6 point system isn't needed
