You have to consider the ground you are on. Sometimes you cannot get nice even ground.
If the site slopes away, I drop the legs via pin just a few holes. Then extend the legs to get it off the truck. If you just drop the legs via pin all the way to the ground, you will not get enough travel on the extending legs to lower the front of the 5th enough to obtain level.
Vise versa if the the site slopes upward.
Trying to get the 5th level before unhitching is always the best, but not always possible, especially at State Park sites. I use levelers for side to side uneven. Not so easy with front to back.
