Lippert Auto Leveling

I was told by the Dealer I bought my FW at to lower the jacks halfway(more strength) down then extend the legs to near the ground but when I looked up the Lippert way it said to extend the legs to the ground then lower the legs. What is right? I occasionally run into issues either way.

Same here - :h - maybe I'm missing something that I'm supposed to do? Seems to work fine for me.
  • Not understanding the question. I lift the front off the truck, pull truck out and press auto level.
  • I only extend the power part of the extension first when after unhooking I need to lower the front of the rig.
  • If it's nose high to begin with, you need to run out the jacks a bit, before extending the legs. Then you will have "room" to lower before the jacks are all the way in.

I use 6" blocks under my jacks to decrease the extended length. I try to get equals parts of extension leg and jack.
  • Well on ours I let very little out on the legs.We always seems to be nose high and the leveler works better for me that way.Much more sturdy and stable too.
