Lippert rear electric stabilizer jack trouble
Hello. I have a 2008 Cyclone 4012. It has Lippert electric stabiler jacks in the rear. A few months ago during a trip the jacks were packed in ice/snow. Without thinking much I tried to press the button to lower the jacks. The drive gear in the reduction gear assembly broke. I am getting that fixed. However, I am worried about the cause of the gear failure. I have tried to manually turn the crank on the jack to lower the jacks and I can not get it to turn. It seems to be in a bind? Or stuck? Or some part of the screw system is broken? My question is not on the motor or the reduction drive, but on the screw system and figuring out how to manually free it? Also, any idea which way to turn to (clockwise/counter-clockwide) to lower the gear? Maybe I am turning the wrong way?
