- ivbinconnedExplorer IIOk Cummins about to install the number on the old is 122108.
The Munroe number 5550001 seems to be about 1/2 inch longer compressed.
Might this be a problem? - sayoungExplorer

eTrailer.
There might be a Monroe equiv. as they make a lot of trailer shocks/kits.
I believe that Monroe discontinued trailer shock kits years ago.
Monroe quit makeing the mounting kits but still make rv shocks. Our Jayco came with mounts but no shock. I followed Monroes instructions for measuring and my local auto parts guy matched up what I needed. I thought I still had the model but no can find.
It did make a difference on stuff moving around . However from vidideos on utube the Joyriders or whatever they are called would be the better way even tho more $. Having the mounts the shocks were worth it but if you have to go with the lci kit would go better. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIWhat's a "trailer shock kit" ?
