Lippert steps up to the plate.

Found a problem with my TrailAir pin box on the new Cedar Creek I bought last Fall. It didn't ride well and made a loud snapping noise when I inflated the hitch. On further inspection I found the welded on mount for the shock absorber was crooked and the shock was hanging up on the side of the mount limiting the travel.
A couple of pictures and some conversation with Lippert's Customer Service dept. and a complete new pin box was shipped no charge.
I have no complaints and all I can say is thank you Lippert! They were also kind enough to send it to my home so I don't have to deal with waiting forever for a dealer to install it. It's not a difficult thing to do if you've had some practice. I installed the one on my last trailer by myself.

  • Over on the Redwood Forum there has been a few failures.... Lippert has stepped up for MOST and made it right.... NOT all of their Customer reps got that memo, but a little navigation through the phone system will prevail..

It is with the TRI-GLIDE, that has been replaced already . .
  • Good to hear a positive report! Most times manufacturers are only mentioned in a negative way. FWIW, I have talked with Lippert several times, and ordered a few parts from them. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
