I was reading this post/thread, and have noted some of you have put a waste gate on perminate, did you use the twist on gate, cut the tabs off the male end of the sewer pipe, where the cap or sewer hose connects on. Then just glue the twist valve on? My gate vale measures 3" ID, if I cut the tabs off, can I slide the valve on to be glued?
