I have to back my 5th wheel into a tricky spot in our barn over to the side of the entry door that is centered on the barn. I take a 50' x 3/4" rope down 1' to the side of where my wheels have to be, then looking in my mirrors I can stay on line and if I run over it, no big deal. Just pull forward and no damage to the rope. Works really good for me, then when done just roll it up , hang on the wall till it is needed again.
