choosing a rig is based so much on personal preferences, its hard to say. folks fulltime in cargo vans and Casitas, but I couldn't.
I have Raptor and like it, but its only used part time for trips when I take my toys along. When I fulltimed I was in my class A motorhome, which is still my primary RV.
The garage area will be handy for 2 big dogs. My caution would be that the heating/cooling in the garage area is very weak. Although heat & AC is ducted into the garage, its at the end of a long run of duct and unless you partially close off the living area outlets, very little gets to the garage. In Fl you'll want/need the optional 2nd AC unit(BR) and possibly a 3rd for the garage. The insulation levels provided by Keystone are not the best for extreme heat or cold.
As far as the patio feature, my understanding was it was an option available on all Raptors. I wasn't interested in the patio for mine, so didn't look into the details.
