Locked myself out... again....
I don't know yet how these locks work completely. I guess if you lock the top lock from the outside, you can still open the door from the inside, but then the door will still be locked from the outsid...

He got in because there are only so many different key patterns. The older Japanese cars were terrible for this. Some keys were unintended master keys, and would open 90-95% of the cars.
