Lookin For a VRV

What ever I buy, I will set the truck up with Timbrens or air bags along with an Equal-I-Zer WD hitch and get by until Toyota puts a Cummins in a tundra...

I have not decided what I want yet but I will likely get the 719.

Not from my personal experience. No. Although, I didn't have air bags to be fair.

EDIT: I also didn't have an equalizer Hitch. I had a fairly basic Pro Series that Etrailer.com installed for me.

Another reason Tom recommends the 6x15 or 6x14 that he sells is because he knows the trouble I had towing his 619 with my Tacoma.

Well, we got to look through a Livin Lite Quicksilver 8.5 X 20 today. It was pretty nice, but honestly there was a little more flimsiness than I expected...wrong perception I think. You can't go too heavy or the entire thing will be too heavy.
One concern I have is that the seam that runs about head high across the front was disbanding most of the way across. This was a brand new unit! With just double stick tape, how many other seams are going to come apart?
More of the inside was vinyl and not aluminum, at least more than I thought would be.
The ground clearance was quite limited as well, there is about 1 foot between the ground and the unprotected tank between the axles and barely any more below the entry step in the folded position.
Still, if I could have got the price I wanted I would have bought it, we were about $1700 off and I'm still thinking the 8.5' X 20' might be a nit heavy, especially loaded...

Awesome! VRV and Livin Lite hadn't split when we bought ours. But I did look into Tom's VRV last year because he had a 6x18 available. The quote was better than what we got from Living Lite.

Just be aware of the payload capacity of your truck. I have a 22' VRV which has 850 pounds of tongue weight with the battery and propane and no toys in the back and lightly loaded. It can exceed 1/2 ton Pickup trucks limits or be at the edge of them really quick but otherwise I love our VRV. Good luck.

Thank you, I have been reading the specs, and you're right, the tongue weights are fairly high, even though the overall weights aren't...

I am taking that into consideration for whichever model we choose.
