Looking at a Highland Ridge, need some help.........
Ok, It's 35ft 10in. Unloaded weight is 8900lbs. Looks good, getting ready to trade in my F150 2.7 for a 2016 F150 3.5......What does everyone think? Model is 315BHS. Thanks, Jim

Just a word of caution. Make sure you know exactly what 5th wheel you want before you buy your truck. If in fact you decide on a heavier 5th wheel you may want to go with the 4.30 gears. And vice versa, if you find the exact truck you like then you are stuck with a certain size 5th wheel.
That's why when shopping for both at the same time I like to recommend that the 5th wheel be decided on 1st. That way you won't be stuck with an underperforming truck.
Too many times buyers have a truck already and then go out and start looking at trailers. What usually happens is that their initial idea of going conservative gets thrown to the wayside when they start seeing all the other units. Pretty soon they find that they like ones that are a little bigger or nicer and that means they weigh more. Now their trucks undersized.
Anyway, have fun shopping. I would also look at all of the big 3 MFG for 3/4 ton trucks. They all have some nice qualities.
