looking at used 5th wheels
I'm considering a 2006 Glendale titanium or a 2005 NuWa Hitchhiker. From reading the forums, I get the sense that these are (were) well constructed FWs. Am I correct in that? Any other mid-00's FWs...

Go to http://nuwaowners.org/forum/. They can answer about any thing on a NU-WA. I bought mine at a repo auction. We love ours. I've found it to be a well built solid rig. I plan on it being our last rig after another 15 yrs or so.
2005-2006 had some units that the axles were recalled. A quick look around the hub will show a incomplete weld. I had a hub break off, luckily going very slow while cornering in a campground. The axles weren't made by Nu-Wa. The axle manufacture let me pick up the axles in Goshen, IN, about a 2 hr drive. But I wanted to check other things in the area. Worked out really good as I picked up everything new from the wheels to the spring shackles, good to go for years.
