I recognize your name from the CVO forum. What's up ? We're sorta in the same boat. Retiring soon and looking for a toy hauler so we can camp for a week or so and ride all the back roads that we had to miss during vacations when time did not permit it.
My half ton Ford will tow 9,600 lbs, but that's not the issue, especially with toy haulers. It's mainly truck payload. Look on your door sticker or manual and see what yours is. Most toy haulers have a tongue weight that's much heavier than the same length TT.
My example, Truck is rated for 1207 lbs. Subtract me, the wife, tonneau cover, bed liner, WD hitch, etc. Now I'm down to between 6 and 7 hundred lbs. Most are way more than that. It will go down when you load the bike and gear in the rear of the trailer, but it's hard to calculate just how much. See my post below about brand advice for the ones we're looking at. You'll probably need something 23 ft or less.
