It's difficult to find a used "high quality" 30'ish 5th wheel. They can be found, but we recently finished about a 2 year search for that same 5th wheel you're looking for. To be honest, we were quite picky about what we wanted or would accept so that certainly extended our search.
We had a 2001 Cardinal 25 footer (overall length 28') with double body slides since purchasing it used 12 years ago. Dry weight was about 8700+ lbs. We pulled it with our current '02 Chevy 2500 Duramax diesel. It was a great little camper in which we used often during our work years and after retirement traveled to the Rockies, Canada, NY, Maine, and to Florida for snowbirding, this being the 3rd season.
About 2 weeks ago while in Florida (continuing our search here because there are a lot more used 5th wheels here) we found a nice 2012 Cedar Creek Silverback 29RL at Lazy Days RV near Tampa. We were going to trade our Cardinal. Unfortunately upon prepping it for us they discovered severe water damage. To make a long story shorter, we purchased a new 2015 Cedar Creek Silverback 29RE. It actually measures just over 33' and just over 10,500 lbs. empty.
We searched far and wide and on line for a shorter used quality 5th wheel. They are difficult to find, although not impossible. My preference for 5th wheels are those better quality units made by Forest River (Cardinal & Cedar Creek). Heartland makes some nice shorter models. Just go to their websites and get familiar with the various models (brand names) the different top RV makers have. Getting one in that 30' range can be very frustrating though. Good luck with your search.
