Looking at the fuel station on my cyclone I think you could easily get away with a wire mesh box open on the side. Then have some decent looking door covering the open side.

Some angle iron / mesh and a welder and you'd be in business.
If you wanted a pre done deal maybe get a pickup tool box of about the right side and put a mesh bottom in it.
