Looking to purchase as a combo....

Biggest issue I see with buying both together is that you might love the truck, but not be happy with the FW floorplan. Unless you can just steal something, where you can dump either the truck or the FW and not take an absolute bath, you're, IMO, much better off buying them separately. That being said, I've known a couple people who had the means, buy a FW they really liked, but buy an included truck, then sold the truck without losing much on the deal, if any. MUCH easier to sell a truck than a FW, for sure. Normal rule of thumb is to find the FW you like, then buy the truck you need to tow it safely.
