We have two swivel rocker recliners that came with cheap tieddowns that I removed. I just turn them to face each other and push the fronts together; no issues.
I tie the legs of our dining chairs together with Velcro straps and they stay pretty much in one place. Our large recliner never moves and we don't do anything with it except rotate if fore and aft to provide additional walk space when the slides are in.
I've had a couple of panic stops and haven't noticed any problem with any of the chairs.
If your chairs are moving around that much maybe look at making some improvements to your trailers suspension like equalizers/shocks. We have some pretty bad roads here in CA.
Never had chairs, always goucho's. Our camp chairs i slide under the rhino. I wish our haulers outside ladder was in the rear somehow, i like hanging our camp chairs on it like we did in the motorhomes, worked great.
