We have a long bed and have a Dee Zee bed high tool box , works great no problems , had to redo the locks the ones that came with it were cheap and bent so I put hasps and pad locks on it since I keep my Hondas and cords and cables as well as jacks and tools in there . Does limit the use of the truck when not towing but there is enough room behind the hitch up to the tailgate for anything I have needed to do with the truck when not towing
