Some friends of mine just installed
this vent-free LP firebox insert in their bus (can't wait to see it for Christmas!!!). Over the years they have installed many such "vent free" firebox inserts (they know how to add a fresh air vent for the flame) and know how to install one without creating any short- or long-term problems. They use a digital CO tester. And they have not had any moisture problems with any of their LP appliances, either in an RV or in a home setting. They also have a GE Profile home range in their bus. I was told it was bought new in 2002 and they have never had a problem with it.They think you all are nuts (their words, not mine) and told me I need to stop reading the RV forums. I'm beginning to think they are right. But I like to get ideas for a bus conversion I have planned that they are going to help me build.
