LP fireplace only???

Friends of ours have ordered a new Pinnacle which went on the line last week. In a conversation we had they mentioned there model (front living room) only comes with a LP fireplace. All other models they make come with electric. Can this be correct?? Seems kind of odd to me that it would only come in 1 model with out any option to change it to electric. Any input??? I personally think they would like the electric but don't want to create any problems. For what these things cost I most certainly would want what "I" want in my unit.
  • While a catalytic one would work fine (like a Mr. Heater), a flame type would be bad for certain although the one Roy found is vented which wouldn't appear to be more efficient than the regular kind. We've a Big Buddy that works very well when dry camping, although I'm still trying to figure out how to hook it to something larger than the bottle tanks without drilling holes, etc.

I did find a PROPANE fired fireplace for RV's on google search...

The list of cautions in the manual sure would scare the "H" out of me using one haha...

    RV PROPANE FIREPLACE
  • Have never seen a mfg use an LP fireplace in a production rv.....

They don't define what they are using on the website, just says "ledgestone fireplace", which is just a fake stone surrounded fireplace...
