LP gas connection and portable grill

My coachman 5th wheel has a LP gas connector on the right side for connecting a gas grill. I have a Weber Q200 grill and we have been using the small gas bottles for the grill. Last week we purchased a hose to connect the grill right to the camper connector but this will not work the grill? We are getting gas flow but barely enough to make it light. Studying this I think the problem is double regulators. The gas from the camper is regulated and the grill has a regulator on it as well, I think this is the problem. Am I right with this thinking?? Would my grill work if I remove the regulator from the grill?

Show us what is needed to fix the problem.

You need to remove the regulator on the grill and buy adaptor fittings to attach you RV gas hose directly to the grill. The hose from the RV will supply "regulated" gas to the grill.
I got all the fittings I needed to do the conversion here... http://caloreequipment.com/products/cl/quick-disconnects.html
  • Never mind I got the info I need from Weber's web site. Two regulators is the problem and the grill can be converted.
