Made a removable Flag Pole holder today
Had some time today, so i made this mount... it really only holds the pole straight, the bottom sits in a piece of tube welded to a 1/4" plate x 12inch square on the ground

I agree with some way to anchor to the ground...maybe drill holes in corner of plate and drive 4 stakes into the ground otherwise any wind will cause your base to slide around and result in breaking your nice upper stabilizer you built. Otherwise nice job!
