Most systems are installed with minimal sized wiring and poor connections that compromise performance potential. Brake ajustment has a huge impact, too. Most people adjust electric trailer brakes like they did on their 1960's car/trucks -this is not nearly tight enough to operate properly -both speed and intensity, due to the way electric trailer brakes use magnet pull and inertia to energize.
