Charlie.... your issues with the 16" BFG T/A is a different tire than the 16" T/A 2 tire the OP has just bought. Time to let it go.
As far as your comment the 16" BFG T/A was a bad design flies in the face of the fact it was a excellent tire for trucks/vans/suvs/trailers for 20 years before those produced in the '10-'12 recall era.
Just like other truck/van/suv/trailer owners I've used several sets of the older 16" BFG Commercial T/A on my equipment and RV trailers before the recall era with zero issues with any of them.
When purchasing any tire fill out the registration card for your tires warranty on those tires.
This email answer from BFG to my question;
: Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
In regards to the email you sent stating:
I have a 16 GVWR GN Trailer that has three 6000 lb Dexter axles with 3205 lb rated steel wheels. I would like to install your BFG Commercial T/A LT235/85 R16/E's on this trailer.
Does BFG recommend them for trailer service and Will the tires be fully warranteed in this application?
Thanks....

:. If the requested tire meets or exceeds the load capacity for your trailer it would be a good fitment and fully warranted.
The BFG Commercial T/A 2 LT235/85 R16/E tires carry 3042 lbs at a max of 80 psi per tire.
