Back in 2010, a poster on another forum asked for comments on the use of Michelin XPS Ribs under a 5th wheel with 6K axles. Since I had used XPS Ribs successfully on our 2000 Jayco Designer XL 3610 RLTS, I had recommended them. As is typical, the naysayers came out of the walls to decry the use of the LT235/85R-16E XPS Ribs under a 5th wheel. Soooo...I contacted Michelin. Their response follows:

Hi Rusty;
Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.
Obviously the utilization of the XPS Rib tires are limited, as they are only manufactured in 16" sizes, LRE (10 ply) versions. It is an all steel radial casing design and with exceptional strength, making it long lasting, durable and also retreadable.
In its class nothing better, excellent for a recreational or commercial trailer tire.
Only drawback (we see you are in Houston) it is NOT an all season tire.
Highly recommended for your application!
