How is the campground? We were looking at that one too, but looks like none have power at the sites and with temps as high as they are A/C would be nice. Hopfully being higher in elevation it will be cooler.
I was in town today and saw that Mammoth RV Park looked like they had spaces available. You might also check at McGee Creek RV. They are relatively new with hook-ups and having the creek and trees make it very nice.
Brown’s Town @ the river had numerous spots open yesterday when I did my visit. I don’t think they have any hook-ups but I’m not 100% sure.
Are you asking me to compare a dry camp at 7000 ft. along a river with great trout fishing out your back door to dry camping in the desert in July?????? Did I mention the Sierra Mountain Vistas and clear skies ?????
