On my last Keystone (2010) one of the end brackets on one of the rung ends failed/cracked. On my 2013 Keystone, the rung ends are beefier, better quality. So far so good.
Steve - Super_DaveExplorerInteresting to know what would fail first, the ladder or the ladder attachment to the trailer.
- ependydadExplorerMine's stickered 300 pounds and I'm 265 usually. I hate that dang thing, but I've never seen anything to indicate that it's losing the battle when my fat-a$$ climbs up or down it.
- therinkExplorerMine says 300. I am 240. I use it very gingerly. I never put all my weight on one rung as I don't trust it.
- SteeljagExplorerMine is stickered at 300lbs.
- MSGTRETIREDCSPExplorerI weight 220 and climb mine very carefully. So far, no crash and burn.
- MTPockets1ExplorerMy ladder is made by Atwood and ha a sticker that says 300 lbs. max.
- MFLNomad IIThe ladder on my Canyon Trail is rated for 300#s. I doubt that all ladders on RVs would be rated the same.
That being said, I don't think I'd be climbing mine, if I weighed 280!
