I don't understand, why would you need rims rated for the tires rather than rims rated for RV? I would think that a over rim rated tire would make rim the weak link, is the only thing think of.
A higher load rated tire requires more air pressure. A load range D tire is 65psi, a load range E tire is 80psi, and so on. Rim has to be designed and able to hold the higher rating of air pressure to prevent possible catastropic failure.
