Hmmm, doesn’t that make you wonder why they are not tested to the same degree of difficulty?
Maybe it’s because they are Special Trailer tires and have their own design characteristics. Might also make you wonder why a steer tire is better suited for trailer axle service than a drive tire.

As Tireman9 posted a few years ago. ST tires do not have a service description, which creates the speed rating. So ST tires do not have speed ratings, they have Speed Restriction!
